A man's body is found drifting in The Ponds, an apparently idyllic, female-only bathing space, hidden from sight by trees. Who he is, or how he got there is anyone's guess. During the police investigation, the characters of the women who swim and work there are gradually revealed and we start to get a glimpse of what goes on behind the trees.
