Details
The father of shepherdess seeks justice for his daughter after her marriage to an unscrupulous son of senator. Can it be found in a city of wealth, class and power? This play mixes romance, comedy and an angry sense of injustice. "Shakespeare and the Lawyers" has been chosen as Globe Education's spring theme to complement the Globe's anniversary production of Twelfth Night in the Middle Temple Hall. The programme of staged reading and lectures will explore the lawyers' relationship to the theatre in the 16th and 17th centuries.
