The Real Inspector Hound ingeniously re-invents the country house whodunit in which two theatre critics find themselves more involved then they realise in the murder mystery on stage. Playing mischievously with theatrical convention, Stoppard breaks down the wall between stage and auditorium with a fatal piece of audience participation.. This ADC lateshow is part of Freshers' Week 2000 at the ADC Theatre, in which all roles, from producers and lighting technicians, to set designers and all the actors themselves, are assumed by new members of the University.
