The Record Keepers opens with the first anniversary of Harry's last wish: to discuss the entries of his and his close friends diaries and ultimately the effect Harry's illness has had on each of their lives. Harry's spiritual wishes soon expose the shallow masks of his friends and the obvious cracks in all their relationships. It is only through Zac, his spiritual mentor, that they might find some truth in themselves; in each other; and if they have strength, where their fate might ultimately lead them.
