The Sailor, the Spaceman, the Scientist and the Woodcutter is a new performance in development from Fort Reasoning that looks at success, failure and human endeavour through these archetypal figures. It is a performance that reflects upon the idea that single minded progress is dangerous, that it is as important to look backwards as it is forwards, to be mindful of taking care of the world, the consequences of our actions and the value of what we have. The company will be sharing a few extracts and starting points, focusing around the Sailor, for discussion and feedback.
