Details

This highly unusual play combines domesticity and mythology, the tale of a put-upon modern Whitley Bay housewife who increasingly finds herself drawn by the powerful voices of the sea. The Selkie blends ancient northern myth, magical transformation, drama, comedy, music and song. A play with Live Sea Music by Valerie Laws with (live on stage) The Keelers and Katie Doherty.
