The Sniper archiveFragmented and poetic, The Sniper is the monologue of an unnamed soldier whose psyche is simultaneously sharpened and blunted by the horrors he witnesses every day. Alone on a hill like an omnipotent god, the sniper watches villagers attempt to go about their day-to-day lives. He spies a pretty, young girl through the sights of his gun, and the critical line between reality and fantasy is blurred. Then the tanks roll into the village.
