After his appearance on Countdown, the sighting of the rare and elusive Sociable Plover will guarantee Roy immortality. But as he watches and waits, another, non-feathered fugitive form the storm is struggling towards him. A strange and dangerous secret hides in the hide. Can Roy fulfill his dream or will the intruder scupper his plan?
