An intriguing play about midlife. Writer-performer Christine Watkins surveys the midlife landscape through Elin, who, holidaying alone for the first time, finds the landscape of her own heart and body being laid bare by the retreating sea. But keeping her company on the shoreline are the determinedly cheerful Beach Radio quartet and a strange lifeguard with advice on how to navigate a rapidly turning tide... A vibrant and thought-provoking new work which cuts across the art-science boundary, with a powerful score by Sianed Jones and sparkling a capella songs from Mary Keith and Beach Radio. This is a co-production with The Centre for Performance Research.
