Adapted from Berkoffs' play, who adapted his work from Franz Kafkas novel. Performed by level 3 BTEC Performing Arts students at Clyst Vale Community College. Joseph K is under arrest. What he has been accused of and by whom he does not know. Deceived by authoritarian power, he is relentlessly hunted down for a crime that remains nameless. The play follows the psychological and physical journey of K as he enters the surreal world in search of some answers and a way to break the binds of unyielding red tape. Part of Winter Warmed: three weeks of performances, workshops, films, presentations and discussions celebrating the unique theatre of Samuel Beckett, through the talents of local and regional theatremakers.
