Samantha Hain is approaching her 70th birthday. Her two adult sons, Martin and Robert, live separate and apparently successful lives. However, each carries his demons and the brothers remain ideologically poles apart. Mam frets about her boys, the world and the future, and in seeking understanding she turns to Wicca for inspiration. Her unpredictable behaviour brings her sons into conflict.
