They Shoot Dogs archiveBased upon the real-life accounts of serving soldiers and their families, this is a brutally honest, frequently funny, and at times disturbingly poignant production, which explores the traumatic landscape of conflict through the fictionalised memories of the men who survived it. This original script by Sandra Philip, directed by Lisa Adams-Davey, addresses the traumatic impact of war for Soldiers and their families through frank, unapologetic, exciting dialogue, and moments of dynamic physical theatre. This production is the professionally-led Premiere of They Shoot Dogs, and features some of Edge Hill University's highly successful Performing Arts Graduates from 2008 to date. Contains some strong language. Recommended for aged 16 plus
