A terminally ill man wakes at night in his hospital room to find that the neighbouring bed has been taken by a suicidal young woman fresh from having her stomach pumped. The bizarre rapport between the two gradually evolves into what can only be described as a darkly humorous 'Hepburn and Tracy-esque' relationship to which there can only be one possible outcome. The Woman Who Didn't Want Her Life. The Man Losing His. Although he is already destined to die, she persists in trying to stop him smoking because of the negative effects on his health. He tries to discourage her various suicidal endeavours for exactly the same reason. We Should Never Have Met. But How We Laughed!
