Jules Verne's tale of Captain Nemo combined adventure, science and an audacious imagination to achieve great popularity back in 1869. Walk the Plank's new production will use the same qualities, as well as the uniquely atmospheric setting of the ship - with its stell decks and massive watertight doors - to conjure up the strange underwater world of the sci-fi submarine Nautilus, and her enigmatic captain. Walk the Plank's touring ship, moored on the River Tyne outside Customs House.
