In the mystical heavens, the Fire-God's weave fire's magic-burning, warming and dancing, a pyrotechnical fusion of shapes and images for all generations to embrace. On earth below, mortals abuse fire's power and in doing so create tragic consequences; burnt out cars, burnt out bodies, burnt out dreams and burnt out souls. Arson - a destructive crime which impacts on individuals and society as a whole is also the misuse of this magical element. Using physical theatre, video projection, monologues, contemporary songs and dance, Twisted Firestarter projects the conflict of the magic and the tragic when playing with fire, the end result being a highly original and powerful piece of theatre.
