A show examining young people's attitudes to sex, questioning myths and breaking down taboos. Directed by Stacy Makishi, it was developed through workshops with artists such as Rosana Cade and Kate O'Donnell. The show is inspired by the Wellcome Collection exhibition The Institute of Sexology and the National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles. Under The Covers is performed by Contact Young Company (CYC), a young ensemble recruited from a diverse mix of performers, actors, dancers, musicians, poets and MCs. Each year CYC creates new shows in collaboration with national and international artists, and it is the resident youth company at Manchester's Contact.
