We Wrote a Show archive'Learning to be human - how hard can it be?' Humanity is in a right old mess. They're electing crackpot leaders, spending billions on knocking ten bells out of each other, and running society mostly over Twitter. ‘Upstairs' are fed up and have decided to intervene. Steve and Evie are two Artificial Intelligences in their final stages of training before being dispatched to England, Earth (Take a right at Cathy's Celestial Café, just off the M80 Globular Cluster, and continue for about thirty thousand lightyears (Watch out for the black hole at Junction 17)). All they have left to master is English culture. Evie is up for the task, while heavily resenting an absent-minded Steve for somehow skipping the previous forty-seven rounds of training and stumbling straight into in the final stage before dispatch. Through experimentation and audience interaction, their hilarious journey into what makes the English tick reveals parts of life that we have become blind to today. Things take an even weirder turn when one of them starts to show signs of having the most complex human ingredient - feelings. We Wrote A Show is sure to make you giggle and realise that yes, there is hope left for this world... Even though it's coming from the other side of the universe.
