When Joe Kennedy goes to work in China he can't believe his luck. Finding himself treated as a celebrity the lovely 'Judy' seems ready to meet his every need and as a 'foreign expert' he is constantly pampered by his boss, Mr Wu. But his interest in Judy leads him into an underworld of danger and murky tradition and Joe discovers that China is not changing as quickly as Mr Wu would have him believe.
