Details
The play is about the lives of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec and Oscar Wilde when they were at the peak of their worlds of painting and writing. They met in real life and kept up their friendship even after Wilde's imprisonment. This bitter-sweet play opens in a "respectable" brothel where the girls and customers were entertained by the wit of Wilde and the observations of Toulouse-Lautrec. One of the many highlights of the evening is the unexpected arrival and mad Cancan of Louise Weber (the Glutton), famously depicted in Toulouse-Laurtrec's posters.
