Willow Pattern archiveBased on the legend of the Willow Pattern, told in China more than a thousand years ago and popularised in this country by the pottery designers of the late 18th century. A rich widower Mandarin has a much-cherished daughter, Knoon-She, of whom he is very protective. She is strong willed and feisty, and when she falls in love with her father's secretary Chang, she is determined to be with him and risk everything.
