Woman in the Moon archiveFritz Lang's silent movie Frau Im Mond influenced a generation of space scientists particularly Wernher Von Braun. Von Braun was the brains behind the 1969 US moon landing. He was also the Nazi scientist who engineered the construction of the V1 and V2 rockets which bombed London in 1944. Pascal's new work explores the connections between Hitler's death weapons and the US space mission asking difficult questions about science and morality. A modern Faust play, this text is inspired by testimony from French, German and Austrian former slave workers from the V2 factory Camp Dora.
