Five women tell their stories. While three face slavery, the other two prepare for a wedding where death and murder will follow. This re-working of the work of Euripedes and Aeschylus sets the story of the war between Greece and Troy against the contemporary experience of the refugees and sex workers of Eastern Europe. Armageddon productions presents a brutal unflinching account of war and it’s aftermath and particularly the effect it has on it’s women folk.In Women from the Darkness, Physical theatre, live and acoustic music, dance and storytelling combine to bring the past shockingly into the present.
