Yours Sincerely archiveA one woman musical play tracing the life and times of the one veteran of the war still on active service. It's 1975 and Vera has returned home after receiving her D.B.E. from the Queen. Her elation is marred by a newspaper cutting which opens up old wounds as she relives being caricatured and cold-shouldered after the war. The Forces Favourite may not like admitting it, but the war years were the highlight of her career. Featuring well-known songs such as We'll Meet Again and White Cliffs Of Dover to the less familiar When the Lights Go On Again and Wishing.
