Jen's mother is dying; she returns home to Cornwall, a world full of folk tales, mermaids, uncertainty and drift. On the wild coast where her childhood happened she finds Matthew, the boyfriend she left behind, who has been staring into the sea for so long that the sea has started staring back into him. Lamorna Ash's magical and haunting debut play is an exploration of the oil slicks laid over our histories, the sources and centres of our lives. Zennor was developed at The North Wall during the TheatreCraft residency at Easter 2015.
