Based on the hugely successful poetry anthology of the same name, (Bloodaxe Books 2005), Being Alive is a theatre piece that presents poetry as it should be presented: with which it was written. Being Alive features poetry from across the globe and covers our lives in all their various conditions - growing up and growing old, falling in and out of love, war and peace, the mystery and the downright ordinary moments of life as we live it.
