A special event exploring the life and work of the ancient Greek female poet and icon, Sappho. Hosted by Margaret Reynolds, presenter of BBC Radio 4's Adventures in Poetry, this special event will feature the acclaimed poet Tony Harrison, Sappho translator Josephine Balmer and Sappho experts Edith Hall and Richard Parkinson. Sappho's poetry will be read by the actress Sian Thomas.
