Mikael Niemi and Tommaso Pincio

Mikael Niemi and Tommaso PincioT0
Cult Swedish writer Mikael Niemi, reads from Popular Music, his coming-of-age novel set in 60s Sweden. This is a wonderful tale of weddings, funerals and marathon sauna contests - and of finally hearing The Beatles. Joining him is Tommaso Pincio, one of Italy's freshest voices, whose debut Love Shaped Story, explores small town isolation and the dark heart of '90s America. Telling the fictional story of Kurt Cobain's imaginary childhood friend, Pincio's novel explores the myths we perpetuate as rock worshippers and idol builders. The event will be chaired by novelist Ben Faccini and will feature bi-lingual readings.
