You A member of the women's storytelling company The Ogresses, June's sources for her wide repertoire range from Mesopotamian Myth to the Mabinogion, from Arabian Knights to Arthurian Cycle. She tells wonder tales from all over the world and participation tales from other cultures. For this programme she presents To the Mountains for a Brother, Through the Furnace for a Love including an ancient epic tale from Khazakstan, freshly retold for our time. These tales will delight those who want to venture into the wider terrain of other worlds. It's a dangerous road to travel but there's much to be gained if you've heart enough, if you've wit enough and if you've ears that are sharp enough to hear the whispered words of caution carried on the wind...
