The Magpies The Wolves - In a world torn apart by war, greed and the lust for power, women have become colonised, their bodies the prizes, weapons and grief of war. In this newly commissioned work by Alice Birch (Royal Court, 503), history, mythology, sexuality and brutality become the currency and arsenal of an engulfing tragedy.
