A celebration of World Mental Health Day will take place at South Cheshire College for the second year running. This year the event is being held in conjunction with Congleton and Winsford Mental Health Sector planning groups who will be staging events within their areas on the same day. Tic Theatre Company is organizing the Crewe event at the college, which will include an art exhibition of work created by users of mental health services such as 291 Nantwich Road Link group and patients from Leighton Hospital. There will be a dance performance by students from the college and a video showing performances by students of local schools and South Cheshire College. There will be other live performances throughout the day form various groups plus installation art and poetry readings. This event is part of a week of activities to raise awareness about mental health and will finish on the Saturday in Sandbach Civic Hall with performances, fun and information.
