The first in a series of events celebrating short fiction - live! Short Cuts features a host writer, an invited guest and four 'mystery contributors' whose stories have been selected from a pile of anonymous submissions. Together they make up a showcase for the finest short story writing talent in the region and beyond. Tonight's host is Alan Beard, whose stories have appeared in many magazines, e-zines and on radio.
