Puccini's Madama Butterfl y is one of the world favourite operas, and is one of Opera Australia's most celebrated productions with acclaimed Japanese soprano Hiromi Omura in the title role. She is joined by young Australian tenor James Egglestone, making his role debut as the dastardly Pinkerton, with Michael Lewis as Sharpless and Dominica Matthews as Suzuki.
