Anna Lapwood (organ) - T1794193716A conductor, organist, and broadcaster, trailblazing musician Anna Lapwood, made her TV presenting debut in 2020 hosting BBC Television's coverage of BBC Young Musician. As a radio broadcaster she is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4. Recently she has founded and conducts the NHS Chorus-19, a virtual choir made up of over 1000 NHS staff from across the UK. Bach once walked all the way to Lubeck to hear Buxtehude play and this experience inspired Bach to become the greatest composer of organ music of all time. The programme is completed by music by Bruhns, one of Bach's celebrated contemporaries. | |
