Asked to present her own programme, prima-ballerina Sylvie Guillem chose three of her favourite choreographers - Mats Ek, Jonathan Burrows and William Forsythe - to come up with five specially commissioned works. The results are fascinating - Guillem performs Blue/Yellow directed by Adam Roberts, and partners Niklas Ek in Smoke to music by Arvo Part. Forsythe dances Solo to music by Thomas Willems and the other pieces are entitled In The Wind, There is Someone and Movement. The programme has been garlanded with prestigious international awards, including an Emmy, the Prix Italia, in Grand Prix International and the International Television Festival Golden Prague.
