This is one of the Joffrey Ballet's most famous shows, which enjoyed a wildly successful US tour. When, in 1991, 'The Artist Formerly Known as Prince' attended one of the Joffrey's productions, he was so inspired that he announced that he would 'go home and write ballet music'. The result was a specially extended version of Thunder. That, and some of his most popular other numbers are here choreographed by four of America's most exciting young choreographers.
