An Evening to Celebrate the Life of Quentin Crisp
T01224766616
To celebrate the life of the notorious wit and homosexualist, Quentin Crisp, The Drill Hall presents a number of guests, speakers and members of the gay community to reminisce and salute the life of one of England's most famous gay exports. Considered a modern Oscar Wilde, Quentin Crisp was master of the quip and king of the off-the-cuff remark. His death one day prior to a six city farewell National tour, which would have included performances at London's Drill Hall, struck a chord in the gay community and closed a chapter in England's gay history.
