Ask the Poets opens with an evening focussing on Voice Hearing - a phenomenon currently usually treated as a symptom of serious psychosis but in other times and cultures, regarded as a source of inspiration, visionary power, holiness and special knowledge. David Hart is a poet with a national reputation and a strong Birmingham base, having lived in the city for 25 years.
