Orvin - Champion of Champions is the result of a collaboration between the National Youth Music Theatre and the SJT. A panel including the two Artistic Directors, Alan Ayckbourn and Jeremy James Taylor, fills in the background to the fascinating process that starts with talentspotting auditions for thousands of young people all over the UK and ends with the creation of a brand new piece of music theatre. The NYMT is a hotbed of projects from development labs to touring productions around the world and has a long tradition of highly acclaimed performances and of launching of the careers of future stars.
