The long neglected D-Day story of the resistance uprising and subsequent massacre on the Vercors massif - the largest action by the French Resistance during the Second World War. Lord Ashdown is the former MP for Yeovil and Leader of the Liberal Democrats. He currently sits in the House of Lords. A fundraising event in aid of Salisbury Playhouse 40th Anniversary Campaign and the Army Benevolent Fund.
