Since 1978 Peter Saville has been one of our best known designers, responsible for the visual identity of bands like Joy Division, New Order and Suede. He has worked for clients as diverse as the Natural History Museum and Channel 1 in L.A. Saville, and artists Neil Cummings and Marysia Lewandowsk turn their attention for an hour to the ICA's exhibition of artists' Ephemera 1960-1999. Will they agree with the exhibition's curator that this - the first comprehensive international survey of the genre, featuring work from Gilbert and George, Jeff Koons, John Lennon, and Roy Lichtenstein - is indeed an 'unwritten history of giveaway art...'
