The traditional dressing of the Mayor's Oak takes place at 12 noon, to be attended by Newcastle Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor and Mrs George Cairns. Youth Theatre demonstrations, Backstage tours, Art and Craft making workshops, Stalls, Live music, Games and competitions, Nature trails. Admission is free but proceeds fromthe event go to Vic Appeal
