Oscar Wilde Gala Evening archiveAn evening of music and poetry to celebrate the life and works of Oscar Wilde on the centenary of his death. It will feature readings by Paul Muldoon, Professor of Poetry at Oxford University, including the first readings of two new poems commissioned for the Wilde centenary. It will also feature musical adaptations of The Nightingale and the Rose and The Selfish Giant with music by award winning composer Debbie Wiseman, played by the Orchestra of St John's, and narrated by Nigel Havers.
