The 1999 Royal Variety Performance will be held at the Birmingham Hippodrome theatre with a galaxy of top British variety talent and international stars - the first time out of London for 40 years. The performance will be produced by London Weekend Television and will be shown on the ITV network in December. Birmingham Royal Ballet showcases an extract from Slaughter on 10th Avenue, choreographed by David Bintley.
