A day of workshops specialising in traditional dance and dance music with classes for beginners and more experienced dancers. The workshops include step and clog dance (English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish and Appalachian), Border and Cotswold Morris and social dance. Musicians can participate in a big band Folkestra run by Guy Crawford and leading exponent of English traditional music and dance. John Kirkpatrick will host workshops on playing for dance and traditional dance styles. The day includes related talks and videos and will culminate in a teatime celidh / showcase for both tutors and participants.
