Once upon a time, a group of writers (no experience necessary) gathered for a workshop on using Fairy Tales to create new and original stories. Through a series of exciting games and writing exercises they learnt that their pens were really magic wands; and they all wrote happily ever after. Alison Habens is author of two novels with another one on the way. She is a lecturer in creative writing at University of Portsmouth.
