A training day for actors and those interested in the craft of acting. This practical workshop covers approach to role in rehearsal. The use of specific skills and techniques will be explored in relation to the following: What questions could an actor be asking? How can she/he assimilate thoughts rather than learn lines by rote? Why is rhythm so important? And What is the point of the warm-up? Karen Stuart is a professionally trained actor turned director and lecturer. Her community theatre work has been diverse; from Northern Ireland to the Royal National Theatre.
