Curtain Raisers

Curtain raisers are one of the longest running groups based in the guildford area. We started approx 30 yrs ago to raise money for new stage curtains for a local school. We stage plays, musicals and pantos. We perform twice a year at onslow village hall and at the electric theatre in guildford. A little known fact is [Ben Elton] started with us in his younger days. Curtain Raisers are one of the many groups in the Guildford area. We have been estabilshed for some 30 years and are based in Onslow Village, Guildford, Surrey. We perform a variety of shows inc plays, musicals and pantos at either Onslow Village Hall or The Electric Theatre, Guildford. We welcome all new members for all aspects of stage work, backstage or on stage.
