- MADE IN WALES is the leading new-writing development and production company in Wales. Founded in 1982, we have produced nearly fifty world premieres in Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England. We have also presented over 100 readings, seminars, workshops etc. Scheduled for 99/00 (Arts Council Of Wales - god bless 'em - willing) are : 'Work In Progress' - a week of workshops, seminars and readings on cross-media writing in association with BBC Wales, The Australian Playwrights' Conference in Canberra, 'Aberdare III' - our third new musical for the Welsh Valleys, 'Dada To Damnation' - 'the artist in the twentieth century' in association with The National Museum Of Wales and 'The Australia Play (Homo Away?).
