Mikron Theatre Company tours the British Waterways system on their boat Tyseley taking theatre to location not normally visited by a professional theatre. They also tour the South Pennines, from their base in Marsden, again taking live theatre to localities not normally associated with live theatre. Mikron Touring Barge Theatre - might be anywhere in England (on a canal that is!). Started in 1971.
