About the Show/Event

Information for A History of The Salisbury Giants at Playhouse, Salisbury (Talk). Preserved at Salisbury Museum, the Salisbury Giant and his mischievous companion Hob Nob date back to medieval times. Today a small band of local enthusiasts has ensured that the Giant lives on. Former Salisbury Mayor Paul Sample is one of the latter-day "whifflers" who work with Sarum Morris to keep the traditions alive for future generations. His illustrated talk will explore the fascinating history of the Salisbury Giants and include a short Q&A session.
Approximate runtime 1 hour (including any interval).
